Reading with a young child is the single most important activity to prepare them for school.
Starting at birth, we make books more accessible to families and encourage reading daily with their child. The first years of a child’s life are the most critical. A child's development during those years will determine much of what they will be capable of the remainder of their life. We believe reading with a child will establish a stronger bond in the home, help build a more advanced vocabulary, and provide the building blocks children need to grow into successful adults.

The Rock Hill School District Foundation promotes a collaborative alliance between the community and the Rock Hill School District Three to provide funding and other resources to support educational initiatives.
